Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren't launching their new charity Archewell just yet. "We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right," the royal couple said in a recent statement, noting that their "focus is on supporting efforts to tackle the global Covid-19 pandemic."
But they are continuing to work with the charities they supported before stepping back from their senior positions in the royal family, even as the coronavirus crisis requires social distancing. Over the Easter weekend, for example, Prince Harry chatted with several people associated with his patronage WellChild, including the group's CEO, a nurse involved with the charity, and the parents of two kids who have benefited from the organization.
During the virtual meeting, Harry learned about the difficulties of caring for seriously ill children during the pandemic, but he also offered a much-needed morale boost, saying:
“I think when you’ve been through hard times, you come out so much stronger. Not just for yourself and not just for your family but for other people as well. Certainly from a mental health point of view if you’ve ever been through that you want to make sure that no-one else struggles and no-one else goes through what you went through.”
Screenshots from that video call (like the one up top) also offer a rare peek inside Harry and Meghan's new home in Los Angeles, where they recently moved with baby Archie.
If we're being honest, not too much can be discerned from these photos, but you can see a beige wall and a wooden cabinet, perhaps indicating a clean, neutral aesthetic. In the righthand corner of the screen you can all see what looks like a small white appliance, but it's difficult to tell exactly what it is.
But Harry isn't the only royal showing off his at-home workspace these days. Willam and Kate recently shared photos off their offices at Kensington Palace, which revealed William's rather large printer and Kate's collection of classic literature.
The Cambridges also zoomed from what is presumed to be Anmer Hall, and screenshots from that call showcase a tiny corner of their country home.
Photos of Charles, Camilla, and the Queen's desks on the other hand offered more of a window into their personalities.
Charles and Camilla's offices at Birhall are covered in books and family photos, while the Queen keeps multiple corgi figurines perched atop her desk.
