After COVID-stricken Ashanti was forced to cancel her Verzuz battle against Keyshia Cole, viewers will watch rappers E-40 and Too Short face off in the showdown.
The Bay Area rappers are set to compete on Saturday, and Page Six is told that 54-year-old Too Short is taking it very seriously, partnering with lifestyle coach Jas Mathur and his company Limitless to prepare for the musical battle.
The two teamed up starting this week to get the “Way Too Real” rapper in mental and physical shape for the Verzuz appearance against 53-year-old E-40. Mathur has put him on a special diet and is working with him both mentally and physically to make sure he’s prepared.
Fans will just have to wait and see to see if Mathur’s work pays off.
Ashanti and Cole’s battle, meanwhile, has been rescheduled to Jan. 9, 2020.
