I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! runner-up Jordan North has revealed how contestants kept juicy conversations from going on air. So that's why we never hear any celebrity gossip!
The BBC Radio 1 presenter, who came second to Giovanna Fletcher in this year's show, appeared on the Radio 1 breakfast show with Greg James to spill all sorts of castle tea.
And as well as revealing he was actually a late addition to the lineup, the 30-year-old explained how the celebrities were told not to sing songs by certain artists for rights reasons - and actually used this information as a way to have secret off-air conversations. Sneaky sausages.
"We were told we couldn’t sing Queen, The Beatles, or Disney because [the producers] can’t get them cleared, it means they couldn’t get the rights," he said yesterday (via Digital Spy.)
"So, if we were having a conversation that we didn’t want to go on air, we’d have a conversation, and we’d get someone in the background to sing, 'I want to break free!'
"I’d be there with Shane Richie [talking about someone] and then you’ve got Vernon [Kay] in the background going 'Hey Jude, don’t let me down', and then we'd know it wouldn’t go on air."
That is hilarious.
EastEnders actress Jessica Plummer revealed she also did something similar to ensure scenes weren't aired - by going completely naked in the shower. "Every time I went in the shower I just took off all my clothes. When you’re cold and you’ve got a swimming costume clinging on to you, it makes you feel colder," she told The Sun.
"So I was like, 'Sod this, they’re not going to put my naked bottom on the show, I’m just going to take it all off'.
"And then the cameras just went 'zoom' and they then turned away and I was like, 'Perfect. Every time!'"
That's one way to stop being filmed.
