Prince Harry and Meghan on Thursday made their first public appearance together at an official event since announcing they would step away from their royal duties.
Their attendance at the annual Endeavour Fund Awards for wounded warriors in London marks one of their last as working members of the royal family, as the couple prepares for a new life outside of the U.K., which they plan to finance themselves.
The Duke and Dutchess of Sussex shocked the world in January when they abruptly announced they would give up their royal duties to start a new life in Canada to carve out a "progressive new role."
As non-working members of the royal family, Harry and Meghan won't use the His or Her Royal Highness titles and will refrain from using "royal" in their branding.
After Thursday's event, Harry and Meghan will carry out what is expected to be their last official appearance, joining other senior royals - including the Queen - at the annual Commonwealth Service at London’s Westminster Abbey.
