Forecast Discussion:
A cold front will hang off to the west of our area, through Western New York, through midweek. Precipitation chances are going to be highest in the immediate vicinity of the front. Further ahead of it the chances of rain are going to be decreasing substantially.
Clouds linger tonight with a slight chance of a shower near and west of I81 in NY and PA. Lows range in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Sun and clouds are expected to be with us Tuesday. The chance of a shower is northwest of the area. Temperatures will increase and so will the mugginess. Highs climb into the 80s.
A slim ridge of high pressure maintains its grip on us Wednesday and we should sneak out lots of sunshine. It will remain muggy, however, with highs in the mid 80s.
Lower humidity creeps back in Thursday and while most of the day looks dry, there is a slight chance of a shower. Highs stay in the upper 70s to near 80.
Friday high pressure settles in for a short visit. Expect mostly sunny and comfortable conditions with highs in the low 70s. More clouds arrive Saturday but temperatures remain pleasant in the low 70s.
Some showers and mugginess return Sunday with a 40% chance of rain. Highs stay around 70. Next Monday brings sun and clouds with highs again near 70.
