Looks like Lady Gaga still has more in the tank for us. After announcing the short film yesterday, the multiphyphenate has released the music video for her Chromatica track "911," which seemed to reference her hit "Judas."

The film was directed by Tarsem and produced by the Artists Company. Alongside its YouTube premiere, it premiered on the viacom Times Square billboard.

"This short film is very personal to me, my experience with mental health and the way reality and dreams can interconnect to form heroes within us and all around us," Gaga wrote to Instagram of the release. "I’d like to thank my director/filmmaker Tarsem for sharing a 25 year old idea he had with me because my life story spoke so much to him. I’d like to thank Haus of Gaga for being strong for me when I wasn’t, and the crew for making this short film safely during this pandemic without anyone getting sick. It’s been years since I felt so alive in my creativity to make together what we did with '911'. "

According to the star's recent Billboard cover story, she shot the video back in August and working on the project made her feel alive — "maybe more than at any other point during the making of Chromatica," Billboard reports. The track, which Gaga calls "poetry," seems to speak to a dark point Gaga went through after her Joanne world tour.

“I used to wake up every day and remember I was Lady Gaga — and then I would get depressed,” she told Billboard. Part of the issue was how public she had become, and that anything she did was watched by millions. The result left her in a space of chain-smoking, crying, and drinking. She found her way out through music.

"Turning up emotional faders, keep repeating self-hating phrases, I have heard enough of these voices almost like I have no choice," she sings at the beginning of the track. She performed it during the 2020 MTV VMAs as a part of a three-track medley. "This is biological stasis, my mood's shifting to manic places, wish I loved, and kept the good friendships. Watch life, here I go again."

The video follows "Stupid Love" and "Rain On Me", which are also tracks with videos from Chromatica.
