When it Comes to Video, Be Short and Sweet. - Mint Hill Times

siantarkalo.blogspot.com

Video is huge on social media. It’s one of the most popular types of content out there.

However, all video isn’t created equal: shorter videos are better.

That might come as a relief to those who are camera shy, however making short videos can be much harder than it seems, especially if you have a lot of experience in your industry.

How short are we talking for videos? A minute or less. Really.

Video content is so much more popular and often takes more effort to create, so you don’t want to let it got to waste, platforms like Instagram and TikTok only allow videos to be one minute long or shorter, and even Facebook is encouraging short clips for video ads, as short as fifteen seconds.

How can you possibly say anything in one minute, much less fifteen seconds? It’s tricky, but it can be done. Remember, the average TV commercial is only thirty seconds long.

The key to success is to break down your message into bite-size pieces, this should already be done for your social media, or at least your social media graphics.

The idea is to keep an audience engaged for all of your videos, so make several, come up with a cohesive formula for them, but be creative, you have only a second or two to capture your audience’s attention.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
