Stars including Sylvester Stallone, Michael Douglas, Naomi Watts, Michael Caine, Steven Tyler and even Gene Simmons have joined forces on a video homage to New York City.
Called “We Love NY,” the clip, produced by DuJour Media’s Jason Binn, weaves together self-taped messages from stars across the globe. Caine says, “I know we are all going through a terrible time at the moment and everything seems to be in a bad way.” Tyler adds, “You all gotta hold on — tough times are ahead, the best is yet to come.” Simmons says, “We are going to get through all of this together,” adding, “New York is the best city on Earth.” Stallone says, “I was born in New York, I am a die-hard New Yorker … We love New York forever.”
There are also appearances from Gloria Estefan, Kevin Costner, Lionel Richie, Venus Williams, Clive Davis, Paul Shaffer, Alec Baldwin, Fran Drescher, Daisy Fuentes, Tommy Hilfiger and Dee Ocleppo.
Binn said, “I wanted to create an uplifting message about ‘we’ to one of the most resilient cities in the world, and capture this time of courage and heroic strength that will always remain part of New York.”
