Everything to know about the celeb-connected chef wooing Katie Holmes - Wonderwall

On Friday, pictures began circulating around the Internet that appeared to show Katie Holmes smitten with a mystery man. Soon, the sleuths determined that that man was none other than New York chef Emilio Vitolo.

Katie, a source tells In Touch, has been on "a few dates" with Emilio, including one on Sept. 1 at Antique Garage, a restaurant in New York City's SoHo area.

But who is he? Well, a quick look at his Instagram shows that he's hardly star stuck and well connected in the world of celebrity, having even dabbled in TV. Emilio's main gig, however, is working at Emilio's Ballato, a restaurant which his father owns. The restaurant is a celebrity magnet, and its fans include Whoopi Goldberg, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Bradley Cooper and Denzel Washington, many of whom Emilio has become close to.

Emilio has even cooked for President Obama.

"Pleasure having our former President pay us a visit with his beautiful daughter Malia," he wrote in 2017 alongside a picture of the former POTUS.

Emilio is also incredibly close with Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner, having even attended their 2019 wedding.

Although he appeared in "Royal Pains" and "Inside Amy Schumer," Emilio's real love seems to be the kitchen.

"If you're going to do a restaurant the right way, you always have to be there," he told InStyle.

Alongside a photo with Lenny Kravitz, Emilio said they're longtime friends.

"Know this man since I was basically in diapers 👶🏼 Mahhhhhh dude @lennykravitz ,one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing . Love you brotha," he captioned a snap with the rocker.

In other words, Katie's rumored beau is almost as well known in Hollywood as she is.

A love.. square? Cara Delevingne and Halsey have been secretly hooking, all while their respective exes are dating, a new report claims.

According to The Sun, the women have gotten closer during the Covid-19 pandemic as they've spent time together in Los Angeles.

"Cara has been hooking up with Halsey in the last few weeks and they've been having a laugh together," a source told the United Kingdom tabloid. "It's all very casual and just a bit of fun. Neither of them are particularly keen to be tied down and they're fine about seeing other people."

The alleged romance comes four months after Cara split with "Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson, who has since moved on with rapper G-Eazy. Halsey and G-Eazy, you'll recall, dated off-and-on for a little over a year before finally splitting for good in fall 2018.

Cara and Halsey have been friends for years, having been photographed at several events together. The model also appeared in Halsey's "Nightmare" music video.

"They've both been very open about their sexuality and just want to enjoy themselves so they're both on the same wavelength," The Sun's source said. "They're usually so busy and flying around the world, but as they've been stuck in LA in recent months, it's given them a chance to see each other."

The source said the casual romance isn't news to Cara and Halsey's friends.

"Cara has kissed her in front of friends and stuff. It's not a big deal for either of them," the source said. "It's actually just funny to them that their exes are together now, and there's no hard feelings."

Prior to her romance with Ashley, Cara dated singer St. Vincent and Rita Ora.

"I always will remain, I think, pansexual," the "Suicide Squad" actress told Variety earlier this year. "However one defines themselves, whether it's 'they' or 'he' or 'she', I fall in love with the person, and that's that. I'm attracted to — the person."

Up until now, Halsey had mainly been linked romantically to men (at least in the public eye), but she is openly bisexual.

Rihanna suffered some bumps and bruises on her moneymaker following a recent accident on an electric scooter.

On Sept. 4, fans grew concerned about the singer when she was pictured in a car with visible bruises on her face, many recalling her assault at the hands of Chris Brown in 2009. However, on Sept. 5, TMZ reported that RiRi was simply on the wrong end of a scooter mishap.

"Rihanna was on an e-scooter a few days ago and ate it after the scooter flipped over, smacking her in the face and forehead," TMZ said, citing Rihanna's rep.

The injuries were first noticed outside a Los Angles restaurant. Rihanna was in a car while waiting for employees to bring out her food. At one point, she removed her sunglasses, revealing a black eye.

"It looks worse than [it] is and she's healing," TMZ said.

RiRi is down, but certainly not out!

Naomi Campbell's ex-boyfriend is coming after the model for allegedly refusing to return his property to him… the property, he says, is valued at millions of dollars.

In a lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Vladislav Doronin claims he loaned Naomi money, but has yet to be paid back. It's unclear how much he supposedly lent her. Further, he claims she is refusing to turn over his personal property, which he says is worth more than $3 million.

Naomi and Vladislav, a Russian businessman, dated from 2008 to 2013. During the relationship, he often expressed his love to her via gifts. The former couple often took romantic getaways on his yacht. On her 41st birthday, he bought her a house in the shape of the Eye of Horus on Cleopatra Island in Turkey. At the time of their split, he was also reportedly building her a house in Moscow.

When the couple split, Page Six said the Russian billionaire was "too swept up in the celebrity lifestyle."

"In many ways their relationship is like a business arrangement," the source said at the time. "Naomi brings glamour to his hotels and properties, and he treats her extremely well. But they spend a lot of time apart due to work commitments."

Nicole Young, Dr. Dre's estranged wife, has detailed why she claims to need $2 million a month in temporary spousal support in a new legal filing.

In the legal paperwork, obtained by TMZ, Nicole is asking for $1,936,399 to cover her expenses, indicating she needs $100,000 a month for her mortgage and $900,000 a month in entertainment. She lays out the cost of more monthly necessities, as well, claiming she needs $135,000 a month for clothes and needs $20,000 a month for her cell phone, email and telephone.

Nicole, who's currently staying at the duo's house in Malibu, Calif., claims Dre cut off her access to her American Express Black card, which he supposedly pays for.

In late June, Nicole filed for divorce from the hip hop mogul, who she was married to for 24 years. It was later revealed that the duo has a prenuptial agreement, but that has become a point of contention.

Nicole previously claimed she "unwillingly" signed the documents amid pressure from the rapper and his team. She also said Dre, who valued at around $1 billion, ripped up the agreement a few years into their marriage, something he denies.

In her new documentation, Nicole also alleged that Dre has a "history of violence and coercive control, both before and during the marriage."

Although TMZ she does not elaborate on her claims, she detailed one text message that Dre allegedly sent her after the divorce.

"Why are you ignoring me? Why are you ignoring me … should I come see you?" he allegedly text her.

Nicole found the message "frightening."

Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi are back on… the Internet together.

The former couple, who got engaged on "The Bachelor" but ultimately split up in 2017, reunited to speak about the end of their romance on Nick's new Patreon series, "Nick V Talks Trash TV: A Bachelor and His Exes Tell All." The meeting marked the first time they'd seen each other since the split.

"We just weren't able to match or meet each other halfway," Vanessa said, according to E! News, "although we thought we were."

Nick and Vanessa both assumed their lives would get better after the show aired, but it didn't.

"We would always hear, everyone fights while it's airing, everyone does," Nick said on his digital series. "Once the season's over, it's going to get better. And it just didn't for us."

Nick noted that there was a brief moment of legitimate happiness when he was competing on "Dancing With The Stars."

"That was the one thing we both enjoyed," he said. "Once 'Dancing with the Stars' was done, we were like, 'Oh it wasn't because of 'The Bachelor' that we can't get along.'"

Even when they attended Evan Bass and Carly Waddell's wedding in Mexico — a ceremony filmed for "Bachelor in Paradise" — the writing was on the wall.

"I actually thought, 'Huh, maybe like a romantic getaway is going to have us reconnect to one another other," Vanessa said. "I was really hopeful that it was going to…and it didn't."

Nick said they nearly didn't go to the wedding.

"We were just like, we're going to break up instead," he revealed. "Both of us didn't want to go down there and try to be happy and have it be filmed. But for whatever reason, we weren't ready to end it."

Just weeks after that, the duo officially ended it.

While Nick is single, Vanessa has found love with businessman Josh Wolfe, whom she got engaged to in August.

You can't always get what you want… something Brie Larson has discovered the hard way and on a lot of occasions.

The Oscar-winning actress posted a video to YouTube on Sept. 3 in which she listed off a battery of films that she auditioned for and didn't get, and the list is stunning.

From just 2008 to 2009, she said she missed out on "Sucker Punch," "Gulliver's Travels," "It's Kind of a Funny Story," "Mars Needs Moms," "Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief," "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," "The Book of Eli," "Get Him to the Greek," "The Descendants," "Jennifer's Body," "Legion," "The House on the Left," "Drive Angry" and "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen."

After listing "Untitle Nancy Meyers Project," Brie said, "Not sure what that one was — but I didn't get it!" Similarly, she missed out on the "Untitled Wayans Brothers Project." "Not sure what that it, but it didn't happen for me," she said.

She didn't get "Avatar" either, but she doesn't even remember auditioning for the film.

Ironically, Brie, who has gone on to star in the blockbuster "Captain Marvel," didn't get cast in "Iron Man 2" and "Thor," both Marvel movies.

Taking the long list of rejection in stride, the actress said was nearly cast in "Juno," "Thirteen," "Brink," "Smart House," "Tomorrowland," "Pitch Perfect," "Into the Woods," "Youth in Revolt" and "Peter Pan." Brie also made it to the final round of "Halt and Catch Fire" and "The Big Bang Theory" castings. Ultimately, she got none of them.

"It's a lot of heartbreak, folks," Brie said. "Here I am, still standing."

Brie noted that studios actually passed on her for several films, only to come back to give her a job, including "United States of Tara."

In July, Brie said she also auditioned for "The Hunger Games," "Star Wars" and a "Terminator" film, all of which she didn't get.

Brie's getting the last laugh now.

"Cheer" star La'Darius Marshall is "safe" after a concerning and cryptic tweet.

Late on Sept. 3, Debbie Bonner, who La'Darius lived with while filming the Netflix docu-series, wrote on Instagram that he was in good care with her.

"Ladarius Marshall is safe [at] home here in Texas with me @dlbonn," Debbie wrote on La'Darius' Instagram. "Thank you all for carrying for our Boy, he will receive the help he needs I'll make sure of it. We will take good care of him."

The Navajo cheerleader, a survivor of sexual abuse, caused his fans panic on Sept. 3 after tweeting that he has "given up."

"Ladarius Marshall is floating away, going away, fading away. I have hurt people, I have loved people, and I have given all I am to few people," he said in a since-deleted tweet, according to E! News. "Some people are strong enough to make it in the end but my fight stops here. I have loved so much that when something falls away it takes a piece of me with it. What's left of me is nothing, I'm empty. I hope that when you think of me that you think of positive things that I have brought into your life."

He continued, "I am not what my media shows. I'm a broken kid who has lost his fight, his battle, and his war. Carry on with life, but keep me in your memories. I'm tired of hurting people. I have Given up this time."

Following the post, many of the 22-year-old's Netflix stars lent support.

Jerry Harris said La'Darius has "been the best thing to happen to me."

Gabbi Butler wrote, "I just want to tell you how much of an impact YOU have made on my life. You made me strong when I was weak. You lifted me when I was down. You have made me a better me. I need you to know that you are my EVERYTHING."

She added, "I can not stress enough how important you are to not only me, but so many other people. I love you with all my heart, body and soul and I would literally take a bullet for you. Please, please, please just know that you are very loved and cared about."

Candace Cameron-Bure would rather talk about the apostles than politics.

In a chat with Fox News, the actress was asked about rejoining the panel on "The View," a job she had for nearly a year in 2016.

"I just don't publicly want to talk about politics," she said. "Not because I don't believe that my viewpoints and opinions are important but I would much rather share Jesus with people. That's really my passion."

Maintaining that she has no interest in returning to the daytime talk show, she said, "I don't want to get into the political debate because it just is about division and separation. And I want to learn. I want to be [part of] a conversation about how to build a bridge."

There's been a lot of movement at "The View" of late, and there will be more. When the new season of the show begins on Sept. 8, Meghan McCain will be among the panel. Soon, though, she will go on maternity leave. The show's executive producer, Brian Teta, said, "The View" will not have a replacement for Meghan "but we will have a lot of good guests on the show and maybe a couple of surprise guest hosts."

He said that they want to make sure "that we have every viewpoint accounted for, including the conservative side."

On Sept. 4, the show also confirmed that Sara Haines will be returning to the show in a full-time capacity. Sara was previously on the panel from 2016-2018.

David Fisher/REX/Shutterstock

"I grew up watching 'The View,' and what this show stands for – different women, different backgrounds and different points of view – just speaks to my soul," Sara said in a statement. "I feel like I caught a shooting star twice. To once again be a part of the dialogue where I can share, discuss and disagree alongside these powerful and strong women is a tremendous honor. I feel very lucky."
