I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia has shown that their version Down Under has more bite than the Ant and Dec fronted show in the UK.
With the jungle still open for business for the Aussie based celebs, there was no need for a windy castle as the campmates settled into their new surrounds among the creepy crawlies.
It was quite a baptism of fire for former Australia's Funniest Home Videos host Toni Pearon, who tool part in a jungle trivia challenge.
It turned out to be terror trial for the 48-year-old actress, who had to put her head into a box of snakes after getting an answer wrong.
While the snakes at Gwyrch Castle were well behaved during the trials, this was a venomous pit of nightmares for the campmate as it all went horribly wrong.
Toni was in shock as she was bitten multiple times in the face, as the snakes recoiled and sprang at her facial features over and over.
After noticing the snakes in the box, Toni exclaimed: "Oh s**t! Far out! Oh my god, I hate snakes."
With several carpet pythons slithering around her head, it all turned nasty when one struck out and bit her on the cheek.
Toni yelled "Oh my god!" but this was just the start as other snakes then started launching themselves at her, biting her on the nose and chin.
Co-hosts Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown watched on in open-mouthed horror as the attacks continued throughout the trial.
Toni had previously opened up to her fellow jungle stars about the "humiliating" job she had to to in between roles, when she struggling to get acting work in Hollywood.
She said: "I had a couple of slim times when I was in LA, where I had to take bad jobs. There was this friend of mine, she was selling roses.
"She's also an actress and she said to me, 'I went into this venue, and this guy just bought this entire basket of roses for $200. And that was my night.'
"I was like, 'Oh my god, I want that job. That's amazing. I can do that.' So anyway, I've got my roses, every single venue I went to, no one wanted to buy my rose."
Toni continued: "People were eating dinner and they were like this [turning their heads] as I walked past, they didn't even want to look at me.
"It was humiliating. So, I went, 'You know what? I'm just going to go to a nightclub.' So I go to this nightclub. No action for my roses."
