Kevin Durant is experiencing a bit of a cold spell from long-range of late. After shooting a blistering 69.2% from 3-point territory through the first three games of his Nets career, knocking down nine of his 13 attempts, Durant’s stroke hasn’t been the same since he took Brooklyn’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies off.

After going 2-for-6 from 3-point territory in the Nets’ win over the Hawks, Durant went 2-for-7 from deep in both of Brooklyn’s last two losses. Over the past three games, the star forward is shooting 30% from deep.

Still, Durant is shooting 50% from the floor overall in that span and averaging 29.7 points per game, which is a tick above his season average of 28.2 points per game.

Another recent change for Durant has been his rebounding, though that’s trending in the opposite direction of his 3-point shooting. Durant is averaging 10 rebounds a night over the last three games, grabbing 11 boards twice in the process — nearly logging a triple-double in both of those instances, most recently when he dished out seven assists and scored 28 points in the 123-122 loss to the Washington Wizards.

One other Durant stat to note is his six turnovers on Sunday. He also had four in the win over Atlanta and five in the loss two nights later. He’s acknowledged the problem — and Nets fans now have an idea of what happens when he speaks about a personal problematic trend.
