Each week, there's nothing we enjoy more than scrolling through our Instagram pages to find our favorite looks and see what trends are hottest amongst our favorite celebrities.
While the end of June has been full of iconic style moments, there was one person who stole the show from everyone else this past week: Gabrielle Union. The 10 Things I Hate About You star was seen stepping out of a hotel in a simple, but stunning outfit that she displayed in a slideshow of photos on her Instagram. Of course, we were quick to notice that the 48-year-old actress was wearing an outfit courtesy of one of Kate Middleton's favorite designers.
Union rocked a Stella McCartney Monica Silk Dress, which featured a zipped fastening, draped hemline and ruffled bottom (which you can get here for $1,950). The yellow, blue and cream tennis dress was elevated with Union's steel blue chain strap bag, and her mustard peep toe pumps from Jimmy Choo. This perfect blend of sporty and sophisticated is already giving us lots of inspiration for future summer looks.
We weren't the only ones who thought the actress was turning the New York City streets into her own personal runway. Lindsay Faulk commented, “Is it fashion week? Sheesh.” Meanwhile, DeRay Mckesson wrote, “This is a look!” And Chloe Bailey added, “You look great!”
While Union was the certified fashion queen of the week, we would be remiss not to include other honorable mentions, like Kerry Washington, who caught our eyes with her bright red midi dress from Roland Mouret, or Sofía Vergara, who relaxed by the beach while wearing a floral design from her very own Sofia Jeans collection.
Even though Union took home the crown this week, we'll be excited to see who brings it on in the future.
