Following ITV’s announcement that I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will be taking place in Gwrych Castle in North Wales for the second year in a row, the rumour mill is in overdrive with speculation over which famous faces could be heading into camp.
It’s believed that bosses are currently in talks with several celebs, with Little Mix’s Jade Thirwall, EastEnders legend Jake Wood and former Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr just some of the names that have been linked to the show so far.
However, this year’s I’m A Celeb has been dealt a major blow after a major star reportedly pulled out of the line-up upon finding out that they would be heading to Wales rather than Australia. It’s also feared that more celebs could reconsider their decision to appear on the show due to the location change.

A TV insider told The Sun, “One popular star dropped out immediately.
“Bosses are still in talks with loads of top celebs about taking part and feel confident this won’t put people off given last year’s success.
“But for some of the talent, roughing it for weeks in wet and cold Wales isn’t going to be as much fun as doing that in the Australian jungle.”

Jake Wood
There have been loads of soap icons on I'm A Celeb over the years, from Beverley Callard and Laila Morse to Dean Gaffney and Antony Cotton, but the latest name to be thrown into the ring is Jake Wood after he quit his role as Max Branning on EastEnders last year.
"He would love to go into the jungle," a TV insider revealed to The Sun on Sunday. "He thinks it would be a great challenge for him and he has of course seen how well other EastEnders stars have done on the series."

Baga Chipz
After rising to fame on the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Baga Chipz has been a fixture on our TV screens and it sounds like her next venture could be heading into the I'm A Celeb camp.
Chatting exclusively to heat back in June, Baga told us, "I'm a bit of a lazy cow when it comes to telly. [I'd do] anything where I can sit down, like I'm A Celeb. You can put anything in my gob. I'd get ten stars. I'd eat anything.
"I don't think they'd be ready for me. You know how you had your Lady C and your Kim Woodburn? I'd be one of them. I'd be the talking point of the show, put it that way."

Jade Thirlwall
She's definitely pop royalty at the point, but just imagine if Jade Thirlwall was crowned Queen of the Castle too?
She previously told Heart FM hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston she was up for I'm A Celeb as she admitted, "I'll try anything once me, do you know what I mean? I'll give it a crack. If something smells bad I won't put it in my mouth, but I am good at creepy crawlies."

Tom Malone Jr
Gogglebox fan favourite Tom Malone Jr quit the Channel 4 show earlier this year, but fear not fans as he's keen to appear on more TV shows.
When asked if he would follow in the footsteps of fellow Gogglebox alumni Scarlett Moffatt and appear on shows like "I'm A Celeb or Dancing on Ice", he told fans, "Yeah sure, I think. I actually think that would be sick, and probably would be very fun."

Olivia Attwood
Having appeared on Love Island, Celebs Go Dating and TOWIE before bagging her own show Olivia Meets Her Match, Olivia Attwood is certainly no stranger to reality TV and previously revealed she'd be up for appearing on I'm A Celeb.
"I'd love to do the jungle. I'd give Dancing on Ice a go, although it does scare me. I'm a bit of a baby, so I don't like getting hurt. I feel like the minute I fall over once, I'd be done. I know it sounds dramatic, but I'm just a bit like that. For me, the jungle is less scary. So I'd love to do the jungle," she told Radio Times.

Richard Arnold
It's rumoured that daytime TV veteran Richard Arnold could follow in the footsteps of his Good Morning Britain co-star Kate Garraway and head into camp after he teased, "It's a great show, it'd be great to be a part of…"
Richard added, "Well, I've got to do the downstairs loo, I'm hoping to get a marble finish so if the offer comes in I'll do it. I wouldn't officially rule it out. I've never experienced anyone who's come out of it and said they've had any regrets."

Former Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon was rumoured to be in talks to take part in I'm A Celeb in 2018, 2019 and 2020 but is yet to appear on the show.

Piers Morgan
After quitting Good Morning Britain in a furious row earlier this year, Piers Morgan was put forward to appear on I'm A Celeb by his former ITV colleague Lorraine Kelly.
During an interview with one half of the show's presenting duo, Ant McPartlin, Lorraine said that Piers would be a good fit, to which Ant replied, "He's not working at the moment, so you know, he'll be looking for a job."
"He's got a bit of time on his hands, who knows," added Lorraine.

Nadiya Hussain
Nadiya reportedly turned down a place on the 2020 series of I'm A Celeb because of the show's relocation to Wales.
She told The Guardian, "It's just so cold in Wales: if I'm going to have cockroaches in my pants I'd rather it be in the sun, thanks. Still, I can't help wondering what it would have been like."
Could she reconsider her decision and appear on the show this year?

John Barnes
Football legend John Barnes has competed on Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Big Brother in the past, but there's another show he's still got his eye on: I'm A Celeb.
He told The Mirror, "I've done a number of shows in my days but nothing as adventurous as I'm A Celeb. And to be honest, there's nothing that I wouldn't eat or anything I wouldn't do… I'm fairly easy-going, if they asked me to do something, I'd do it.
"Similar to why I went on to do Strictly Come Dancing all those years ago, it'd be good to lose some weight, perhaps try to beat Nick Knowles' two-stone weight loss."

Her The Chase co-star Anne Hegerty headed into the Australian jungle in 2018, but Jenny Ryan (aka The Vixen) has admitted she's much more likely to appear on I'm A Celeb now that it's filmed in Wales.
She tweeted, "My main reservations about doing I'm A Celeb have always been 1. The Spiders 2. The Snakes 3. The Heat. This could be a big opportunity for ol' Jenny."

Katie Price has famously taken part in I'm A Celeb twice and now her ex-husband Kieran Hayler has hinted he's been in talks with producers.
He told new! magazine, "I'd love to go on I'm A Celeb. I think there have been talks, but I don't know for sure. I'd love to do it because I'm into the outdoors anyway so for me it would be really cool.
"I think it's just the eating stuff I'd be a bit rubbish at – and it's closer to home now I've heard."

Baga Chipz isn't the only Drag Race UK star who has put themselves forward to appear on I'm A Celeb as series one winner The Vivienne has revealed she'd been keen to take part.
During an appearance on Lorraine, she said, "I'm petrified of spiders but get me to that jungle, I'd do it. What a great life opportunity that I'm never going to get again... I am all for that!"

Perri Kiely
Diversity dancer Perri Kiely has revealed he wants to follow in the footsteps of KISS Breakfast co-host Jordan Banjo and appear on I'm A Celeb.
He told Digital Spy, "Jordan has been in the jungle, and I love that normally everyone comes out and they're like, 'Oh my god, it was the greatest experience of my life. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.'
"Jordan came out and was like, 'That was the worst thing I've ever experienced. Never send me back in there again.' So I've got, like, two perspectives of it. But I'd like the challenge. So yeah, get me in there, why not?"

Tamzin Outhwaite
Reports previously claimed that former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite turned down a place on Strictly in order to sign up for I'm A Celeb.
A TV insider told The Sun, "It's early days with Tamzin but she's someone producers have discussed going to Oz in the autumn — and she's told pals she is 100 per cent not taking part in Strictly. There's some way to go in negotiations but she's more likely to be eating a kangaroo testicle than wearing sequins this year."
However, Tazmin rubbished the claims as she told OK!, "I don't understand where this rumour has come from. I even have my family asking me if it is true and I have to tell them no!"
Still, stranger things have happened so we could still see Tamzin in camp.

Speaking about I'm A Celeb's return to Gwrych Castle earlier this week, ITV's head of entertainment Katie Rawcliffe said, "We've always said we have contingencies in place for the series if the Covid situation continued to bring uncertainty, and after a highly successful run at the castle last year we're pleased that we can return there."
I’m A Celeb boss Richard Cowles added, “We're excited to return to Gwrych Castle. The last series was a huge success and we were made to feel so welcome by everyone locally and can't wait to see everyone again."
