I'm a Celebrity brings back familiar face for the first time this series - digitalspy.com

ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has brought back a familiar face to the show for the first time this series.

Kiosk Cledwyn has returned to run Ye Olde Shoppe in the castle, aka Australian Outback Shack owner Kiosk Kev's long-lost Welsh cousin.

Earlier this week, fans were concerned as to where Kiosk Cledwyn was as he's so far not been featured on the show. In the first two episodes of the 2021 series, cakes and biscuits were won by celebs without Cledwyn's intervention, and people were clearly missing him.

One person tweeted: "Has anyone else noticed there's no Kiosk Cledwyn this year?"

Another asked: "Where's Kiosk Cledwyn this year?"

They needn't have worried however, as clearly I'm a Celeb was building up suspense behind Kiosk Cledwyn before reintroducing him.

In tonight's (November 24) episode, we saw journalist Louise Minchin and Emmerdale star Danny Miller arriving at Kiosk Cledwyn's Ye Old Shoppe where they were given a choice between Scotch eggs or fried egg sweets.

After choosing Scotch eggs, Kiosk Cledwyn called the camp and spoke to The Saturdays' Frankie Bridge, who was asked what percentage of Brits said they face towards the shower when washing: 44% or 62%.

TV presenter Richard Madeley led the discussion among the celebs, but they were disappointed when Kiosk Cledwyn slammed the phone down after hearing their answer – 62% – which was wrong. The celebrities therefore left Kiosk Cledwyn empty-handed, unable to indulge in the Scotch eggs they had wanted.

I'm a Celeb stars can take a trip to win trips from Kiosk Cledwyn's Ye Olde Shoppe after completing certain challenges, but he, like other I'm a Celeb shop owners, aren't usually very friendly.

Fans were delighted to see his return, with one person tweeting: "Yay! It's Kiosk Cledwyn!"

Another said: "God I've missed Kiosk Cledwyn!"

The official I'm a Celeb Twitter account also acknowledged his return by writing: "Welcome back Kiosk Cledwyn and sending greetings down under to our good mate, Kiosk Kev! Cousins who Kiosk together, stay together!"

Cledwyn is named after former Labour politician Cledwyn Hughes, and was introduced in 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic meant that Kiosk Kev couldn't make it to Wales for the show.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV.
