I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestants Naughty Boy and Frankie Bridge raised eyebrows among viewers when their geography skills were put to the test on the ITV programme.

As part of a Castle Coins task, which sees campmates attempt to win treats for the group, the pair had to identify famous city skylines and place them correctly on a large map.

However, they got off to a rocky start as they made a few mistakes, including placing New York in Canada and the blunders didn't stop there.

“Kuala Lumpur, I’ve been to Kuala Lumpur I went with The Saturdays,” Bridge asserted. “Kuala Lumpur is not far from the Philippines.”

“But what is the Philippines near?” Naughty Boy questioned.

“Kuala Lumpur,” Bridge replied.

The duo also managed to mistake Dubai’s skyline for Sydney’s, with their errors leaving viewers shouting at their televisions.

"I didn’t even do geography at GCSE level yet this is infuriating me #ImACeleb #CastleCoinChallenge," wrote one viewer.

~Did they actually just place New York in Canada?," shared another.

"Me screaming at the tv that they’ve put New York in Canada

#ImACeleb," a third wrote.

A fourth chimed in: "Geography teachers everywhere shouting at the TV.

#ImACeleb."

During the course of the task, producer Naughty Boy attempted to explain why they had found it difficult.

“The map was challenging because we’re used to a globe,” he claimed.

Despite facing challenges in the trial, Naughty Boy and Frankie Bridge went on to win with the campmates successfully answering a question put to them by Kiosk Cledwyn.

As a result, the campmates shared three flapjacks between them.

Earlier on Thursday it was announced Richard Madeley had left the programme after being taken to hospital.

In a post to social media, the presenter assured fans he was “absolutely fine” but had broken the show’s “Covid bubble” thus could not return.

“Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority,” he wrote on Instagram.
