Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in late January and early February 2022, starting with this pair… The Jan. 31 episode of "Summer House" — which was filmed in mid-2021 — centered around persistent rumors that Craig Conover dated Kristin Cavallari in the early days of his relationship with his current girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo. When confronted by Paige, the "Southern Charm" star finally admitted that he "hooked up with [Kristin] before." In late 2020, there was buzz that K.Cav was dating either Craig or his pal and co-star Austen Kroll, but in July 2021, the "The Hills" alum insisted that she "never dated either one of them." She's apparently sticking to that line — regardless of what Craig has to say! Us Weekly reported on Feb. 1 that, according to a Kristin-friendly source, the Craig hookup rumors are "not true." Said the source of Craig, "He's making it up. … They never hooked up." The mother of three reportedly believes her former pal is "just capitalizing on her name."

There's a new man in Sienna Miller's life! On Feb. 2, the "American Sniper" actress was snapped looking super-cozy with a hot mystery man — who bears a striking resemblance to John Mayer — at Madison Square Garden in New York City. At one point, the pair appeared to lean in for a kiss as they watched the New York Knicks take on the Memphis Grizzlies. Last year, the blonde beauty was linked to businessman Archie Keswick in the wake of her breakup from Lucas Zwirner, to whom she was rumored to be engaged.

On Feb. 1, Page Six shed more light on the alleged issues in Adele's relationship with her new boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul, amid her decision to cancel her Las Vegas residency show: "She and Rich had been fighting, and their relationship was volatile before she canceled her dates. … Adele is very emotional and dramatic. He's an NBA guy who has to go on the road — they are very different — and they hit a rough patch," said one source. A second insider cited one particular "red flag pointing to relationship conflict as a factor in the [residency] cancellation" — that Rich "wasn't in Las Vegas to support Adele" as she started nearing the premiere date. "Was he even going to be there for the debut?" wondered the second source, adding that the chart-topper had many "emotional calls" with her beau that were "actually fights" and not simply tense conversations about her now-defunct show. Later on Feb. 1, Adele seemingly bit back at the rumors about her relationship, captioning a photo of herself on Instagram, "Hiya, so I'm really happy to say that I am performing at the [BRIT Awards] next week!! Anddddd I'll also be popping in to see Graham [Norton] for a chat on the couch [on his talk show] while I'm in town too! I'm looking forward to it! Oh, and Rich sends his love."

During an interview with People magazine that debuted online on Feb. 1, Jennifer Lopez gushed about her relationship with Ben Affleck, saying, "I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him. … It's a beautiful love story that we got a second chance." She went on to say that they "had a little bit of fear" about sharing their rekindled romance with the public because the first time they dated and "put [it] out there," they "were naive and it got a little trampled." Said J.Lo, "We both were like, 'Wow, we're so happy and we don't want any of that to come into play again.' We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us. … I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that's happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does. … We hold it sacred." She continued of her back-on romance with the Oscar winner, "It's beautiful the way it feels very different than it was years ago. … There's more of an appreciation and a celebration for it, which is nice. When you find somebody and you really, really love them and you get a second chance at that? That is a really rare, precious, beautiful thing and we don't take it for granted." The multi-talented performer added of Ben, "I'm so proud of the him, I'm so proud of the man he's become that I've watched from afar. Being honest with each other, being loving, that's just the basis of everything. I feel like he's at a place in his life where — just like how I feel about myself — it's been a journey of learning yourself and figuring yourself out, getting to a place where you feel really good on your own and who you are so you can be in a happy, healthy relationship. … To see the person, the human being, the man that he is today, the father that he is today, the partner that he is — he is so everything I always knew he was and wanted to be."

On Jan. 28, Page Six reported that Julia Fox dated Drake nearly two years before she started spending time with Kanye West, who was "not thrilled" to hear that his new girlfriend previously romanced his No. 1 frenemy. Julia and Drake reportedly connected when he slid into her DMs on Instagram to compliment her on her work in "Uncut Gems," her feature film debut. They met in person for the first time in New York City in February 2020 amid a break in her relationship with Peter Artemiev, with whom she shares son Valentino. She then visited Drake in Los Angeles, where he gifted her two Birkin bags just after Valentine's Day. She also visited him in Toronto — she was reportedly staying at his mansion when the border between Canada and the United States started closing amid the coronavirus pandemic. She hurried back to NYC and briefly rekindled her romance with Peter before connecting with Ye in Miami on New Year's Eve in December 2021.

During an interview with AARP The Magazine that debuted online on Jan. 27, Halle Berry opened up about how she and her boyfriend, Van Hunt, fell in love amid the coronavirus pandemic: "I have this new amazing love in my life. Because of COVID, we spent four months talking on the phone. We were forced to only let our brains connect and discover if we had a connection before our bodies decided to get involved. I'd never done it this way. We talked for hours and hours and hours and hours and never got tired. I fell in love with his mind, his conversation. I realized: I really like him. I really liked who he was, and I can't say I felt that way before. I really believe I've found my person. I fell in love with him before I even met him," she said. She then detailed the headline-making "wedding" ceremony her son from a previous relationship, Maceo, officiated late last year: "My son, Maceo, of his own volition did this little commitment ceremony for us in the back seat of the car. I think he finally sees me happy, and it's infectious. It was his way of saying, 'This is good. I like this. This makes me happy,'" she explained. "It was a very real moment for all of us. I teared up, Van was fighting back tears. Even Maceo knew he'd said something poignant. It meant a lot to us." Van has previously said that he "would love to" marry the Oscar-winning actress.

On the Jan. 31 episode of the "Today" show, Hoda Kotb revealed that she and Joel Schiffman — to whom she got engaged in late 2019 — quietly called it quits over the holidays. "Joel and I have had a lot of prayerful and really meaningful conversations over the holidays, and we decided that we're better as friends and parents than we are as an engaged couple," she said. "So we decided that we are gonna start this new year and begin it kind of on our new path as loving parents to our adorable delightful children and as friends. It's not like something happened. They say sometimes relationships are meant to be there for a reason, for a season or for a lifetime, and I feel like ours was meant to be there for a season." The duo, who were partnered for nearly a decade, share two adopted daughters.

On the Feb. 1 premiere of the 12th season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Jennifer Aydin admitted that her husband, Bill Aydin, had an affair with a pharmaceutical rep while she was pregnant with their fourth child, son Christian, around 10 years ago. During an interview with Page Six that hit the Internet after the episode aired, Jennifer said she isn't sure how co-star Margaret Josephs uncovered the truth about Bill's past indiscretion. "I never told a soul. I didn't tell my parents, I didn't tell my cousins, I didn't tell my sister, I didn't tell my best friend," Jennifer said. "I put it in the vault and threw away the key. I pretended it never happened. I have never brought it up as a dig. Because when you decide to forgive somebody, you really have to forgive it and never bring it up. Otherwise, your relationship is not going to work. … I didn't want to be the one to bring it up [on the show] and ever talk about it because that would be at the expense of my children and it wasn't worth it for me." She went on to say that her husband is "embarrassed" by his fidelity slip-up and "uncomfortable" discussing it publicly. "I told him if we were able to get through it when it happened 10 years ago, we'll be able to get through it now," Jennifer told the New York Post's gossip column, adding that she and her husband are currently in "a great space."

On Jan. 28, Lana Condor took to Instagram to announce that she's engaged to her love of six years, Anthony De La Torre. "Saying YES was the easiest decision I've ever made. I consider myself the absolute luckiest woman alive to live in your sphere. Aside from my father, without a doubt, you are the greatest man in the world. [Our dogs] Emmy and Timmy said it's about time mommy and daddy got engaged!!! … I cannot wait to be your wife, baby. I love you a million times over," the "To All the Boys" film franchise star captioned a slideshow of engagement photos. Anthony — who memorably portrayed a young Jack Sparrow in 2017's "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" — captioned his own slideshow of engagement photos, "That moment when you ask your best friend to be by your side forever… I've wanted to do this for 6 years. The easiest decision I've ever made was to ask this angel to be my wife."

On Jan. 20, Maude Apatow was snapped looking cozy with New York Times bestselling author Sam Koppelman as they watched the New York Knicks play the New Orleans Pelicans at New York City's Madison Square Garden. "They are both very lowkey [and] keeping their relationship private," an anonymous source told Deux Moi, who shared the tip on Jan. 27. It's unclear how long the writer and the "Euphoria" star — who's also the daughter of actress Leslie Mann and filmmaker Judd Apatow — have been an item.
—
On Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, Deux Moi reported that, according to multiple anonymous sources, Chase Stokes is dating Steve Jobs' daughter, model and equestrian Eve Jobs (pictured in 2017), who bears a striking resemblance to the "Outer Banks" actor's co-star and ex-girlfriend, actress Madelyn Cline. "[They've] been a thing since right before the New Year. … She isn't sure how serious it is, but the more time they spend together, the better it gets," said one alleged insider. Chase and Eve first sparked romance rumors by posting photos and videos to social media that showed them purportedly vacationing at the same location at the same time earlier in January.

On the Feb. 1 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Teresa Giudice said that she and her fiancé, Luis Ruelas, are not planning to sign a prenuptial agreement before they tie the knot. She added, however, that she would be open to signing a prenup if Luis pushed for one: "I would if he says so. I'm so, like, very easy about that," she said, later adding, "He definitely has more than me. … I would never take anything from him. I'm so not like that. … I would never!"

"They know no matter what, they have each other to lean on during tough times," said the source, noting that the "Pretty Little Liars" alum isn't "rushing into anything serious" with the rapper. "[They're] just enjoying spending time together. Friends see them as a good match and are hoping this time around it's for the long haul," added the insider.

On Jan. 29, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the "friendship" between Clare Crawly and Blake Monar — who competed for her heart on season 16 of "The Bachelorette" in the summer of 2020 — has "blossomed into something really special." Said the source, "She's letting it roll organically. Things are progressing between Clare and Blake since reuniting earlier this year. Even though they live in different states, they talk daily." The duo "bonded quickly," added the insider, noting that Clare has already met her new beau's family. "It has been evident to everyone around them how much they bring out the best in each other," continued the source. "It is clear to friends that Clare is the happiest she's ever been. … She's attracted to him in so many ways, especially because he values the right things in life. And they have more in common than just having successful careers in the same industry." Clare and Blake have been seen together several times since early January.

During a Jan. 28 Amazon Live, Lala Kent revealed that she's already seeing someone new in the wake of her late-2021 split from fiancé Randall Emmett amid a cheating scandal. "I have a date tomorrow night. It's a group date. I've said on my podcast a million times I'm not ready to go on a date, but I feel like this will ease me in because it's a group setting," she said, adding that "the guy is fine." Gushed the newly single mom of her new potential love interest, "He is very tall. He is built like Superman and has a lot of tattoos. And I like that. He's gentle. I'm very excited!"

During an interview with Page Six that debuted online on Feb. 2, Vicki Gunvalson said she's no longer seeing Rich Dowdall, a man she briefly dated late last year. "We met a few times at different venues in [Orange County] — always country bars, and I was not interested in pursuing anything with him. He's a loser," she said. Rich, meanwhile, claimed he was the one who ended things with Vicki, telling her she wasn't "ready to date" amid her 2021 split from her ex-fiancé, Steve Lodge, who's since gotten engaged to someone else. "She said, 'That's not true,' and I go, 'You're carrying a torch bigger than the Olympic torch,'" Rich recalled to the New York Post's gossip column. Vicki addressed that allegation to Page Six, saying, "Steve and I were engaged and I loved him very much and was committed to 'us.' He elected to cheat on me and use me and didn't have the courage to tell me he was cheating on me. He moved from my bed to hers the same day. Tell me any woman that would be 'OK' with that. … It hurt. The fact that this guy Steve can move on as fast as he did, it's disgusting." She concluded by saying she "dodged a bullet" with Steve and is now dating yet another new man: "[I] am finally in a great place dating an incredibly honest man that I will keep private as long as possible," she said.

On the Feb. 1 episode of Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge's "Two Ts In A Pod" podcast, Meghan King said that she's dating again (yes, really!) just a few months after she split from her third husband, President Joe Biden's nephew Cuffe Biden Owens. "I'm going on dates and stuff," she said. "I'm single again and it's fun. I'm actually having fun with it. I'm not looking to settle down and like, have another baby, get married. I'm good." She then dished on her whirlwind romance with the attorney: "I was married, but it was such a whirlwind, and from start to finish with him was only three months, which was just stupid of me to marry him, but I did. … It doesn't feel like a marriage, it feels like a three-month dating relationship that was an abrupt start and an abrupt end," she said, according to Page Six. "I learned a lesson, and it's time to move on. I think about it as a memory, and I'm sad it didn't work out, I had hopes for it … but it's fine. It literally feels like a nostalgic memory." During an interview with Us Weekly that debuted online the following day, the former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star said she's officially "done" with marriage … for now, at least!

After admitting that his love life "was bad for a while" because he "didn't date anybody really" after he and Katie called it quits, Chris said that "recently, it's been pretty good." He then played coy when asked directly if he's dating a fellow Bachelor Nation personality, saying simply, "Potentially." Teased Chris, according to Us Weekly, "I'm not going to confirm or deny those allegations. But I know Anna. She's a great girl. … We're definitely friends. I enjoy spending time with her. … I'm just really kind of enjoying my time, you know, currently dating, and I don't want to put an extra spotlight on it by any means. Because genuinely, like, for the first time in a long time, [I'm] happy with no stress behind it. [I'm] just kind of, you know, enjoying good company. … No stress, very free, very natural. All of it very unexpected, but obviously, you know, happy that it's happening with whoever that might be." Anna has yet to comment on her rumored relationship with Chris, though she recently admitted on TikTok that she's also been seeing someone.

On the Jan. 28 "Tell All" episode of "90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life," Colt Johnson and his wife of less than a year, Vanessa Guerra, revealed that they separated three weeks earlier. (It's unclear when exactly they shot the special.) The duo attributed their breakup to issues with Colt's mother, Debbie, who moved in with them after they wed. "I just feel very smothered because you're constantly in Colt's face. If I need him, you're in his face," Vanessa said, adding that she's open to the possibility of reconciling with Colt once Debbie has moved out.

During an interview with Page Six that debuted online on Jan. 31, Dolores Catania shed some light on what went wrong in her four-year relationship with David Principe, which came to an end sometime in 2021: "Once I moved into my townhouse, we grew apart," said the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star. "David and I weren't spending much time together to begin with. It just felt like it was time to end things. … David was married to his work. But I needed more, I knew I deserved more and so, ultimately, I had to make a change. … I always asked him to do things that he didn't want to, so I got used to doing things alone. I did like having that independence, but that's not a relationship. A relationship is between two people. If I was going to be alone and do things alone, then I might as well just be alone. I felt alone." There's no bad blood between them now: "David and I never yelled at each other. It was a peaceful relationship. If we saw each other, we did. If we didn't, we didn't and that was OK. There was — and still is — no animosity," she said. As for her new boyfriend, Paul Connell… "I'm very happy. I can't say too much about him because it's new and everything. But he's truly awesome: He likes to do things, he's really funny, he's very generous, he's very handsome. And he's so fun! … I'm able to let loose with him and that feels so good," said the mother of two.
