Seashell on The Masked Singer season 5 is a glamorous pastel wonder with a voice to match. She kicked off her time on the show by belting out the '80s hit, "Listen To Your Heart" by Roxette. Her voice had people instantly split on whether they were looking for a singer or an actress who had a great voice. She was able to secure her spot on the show and sailed right on through. While she was able to wow fans, she wasn't quite as successful at fooling them.
Fans of a certain '90s Disney star immediately knew who was behind the mask. However, the judges didn't seem to catch on as quickly. While they did go back to some '90s TV stars, with guesses like Party of Five alum Jennifer Love Hewitt or Lizzy McGuire star Hilary Duff, the panelists also had some musical theater guesses. One was Broadway superstar Kristin Chenoweth. None of them manage to get near who we believe is the correct celebrity, though.

The voice, combined with Cluedle Doo saying "no two seashells the same" definitely fits with the Mowry twins. Both are talented actresses who are also singers. The problem is that many of the clues worked for both Tia and Tamera Mowry. However, there is one specific clue that seems to point more heavily to Tamera, and that is the hot dog. Many were looking for a hot dog link but we think the words should be viewed separately.
When viewing Tamera Mowry's work history, she has only done two films, unlike her sister Tia. The titles of Tamera's films are The Hot Chick and Redemption of a Dog. This one clue could be pointing to her film work as a whole. The timing would fit well, as Mowry recently spoke of her plans to pursue a singing career. Her new desire to pursue new opportunities, and start a new journey into music, played a role in her choice to leave The Real after seven years as a cohost.

As we pointed out, Cluedle-Doo's Clue was that no two shells are the same. Seashell said that when she was young, she was pulled by the tide all around the globe with her family. Visual clues included a hot dog, a chameleon, a cowboy hat, a witch's broom, and a bell. She said she was always adrift and never felt grounded until she found peace by the shore. She said she had a tsunami of success and used to sing way back in the day but stopped to pursue other careers.
All Seashell's Identity Clues & How They Fit
Seashell said she was pulled around the globe when she was young with her family. Mowry's parents were both in the Army. She was even born in Germany, so this fits very well. As we explained earlier, the hot dog clue fits her filmography. The witch's broom lines up with the Disney channel movie Twitches, where both sisters starred as witches. The Sister Sister star also played an evil chameleon in Are You Afraid of the Dark? so that's where the Chameleon clue ties in.
She spoke of her success being like a tsunami and that fits with the twins' past, which included a very meteoric rise to fame, which happened almost overnight. She said she never felt grounded until she found peace by the shore. Mowry's family settled in California after her father left the military. He went to work for the Glendale Police Department. Her current home in Napa Valley with her husband (Fox News correspondent Adam Housley) has been featured in Country Living magazine and her country lifestyle could explain the cowboy hat. Mowry has been known to don one occasionally. It seems there is more than enough to prove that Seashell is Tamera Mowry.
