When Rick, a mutual friend of Jimmy and Nicole, called Jimmy and said Nicole wanted to meet him about possibly being in her movie remake of Bewitched, he thought it was only work-related. In 2015, however, when Nicole visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she revealed that she thought it was a setup for a date.
"I just remember, I liked you [at the time]," she said. "Rick ... says, 'Oh, you know, Jimmy wants to meet you, and you can go over to his apartment,' ... and I'm like, 'Okay, yeah, cool.'"
When the two hung out in Jimmy's apartment, Nicole assumed the late-night host wasn't into her based on his aloof demeanor.
"You wouldn't talk. You didn't say anything ... and then you put a video game on or something," she said to Jimmy. "I'm like, this is so bad ... and so after about an hour and a half, I thought, he has no interest, this is so embarrassing."
