THE wife of a celebrity photographer suffocated their ten-year-old son with a sponge before laying his body next to his toys, a court heard today.
Olga Freeman, 40, is accused of killing Dylan at their home in Acton, West London, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Old Bailey heard today how Freeman suffocated her son before laying his body down next to his toys in the master bedroom of the £544,000 flat.
She had struggled to care for Dylan, who suffered a range of conditions including autism, in the six months leading to his death, it was said.
Joel Smith, prosecuting, said: "The cause of death was found to be restriction of the airways.

"Parts of sponge were found within the throat of the deceased."
Freeman, who faces a single count of murder, was remanded in custody to next appear in court on November 4.
Dylan's dad Dean Freeman - a celebrity photographer who has snapped a string of stars such as Bradley Cooper and Emily Ratajkowski - previously paid tribute to his son.
He was in Spain when he heard the "shocking and heartbreaking news".
Dean said in a statement: "Dylan was a beautiful, bright, inquisitive and artistic child who loved to travel, visit art galleries and swim.
"We travelled extensively over the years together spending such memorable time in places including Brazil, France and Spain.
"I can't begin to comprehend his loss."
Dean's agent added: "He was a loving and caring father and even though divorced for a number of years, he cherished all the quality time spent with his son."
Dylan's grandad Robert was also a photographer and shot a number of iconic The Beatles' albums - including including A Hard Day's Night and Rubber Soul.

According to her Facebook page, Freeman is from Moscow in Russia and has lived in Kuala Lumpur.
Cops launched a probe after she attended a police station and spoke to officers in the early hours.
Keith Grindrod, who lives in the building next door, claimed he was woken by a "scream in the middle of the night".
He added: "It sounded like a little scream next door. It was a childish scream. It was just enough to wake me up.
"I can hear next door and downstairs when they are moving around and I can hear outside as it is quiet at the weekend.
"Then I woke up at about 6am and looked out the window and saw a police car outside."
Other neighbours say Dylan was disabled and used a wheelchair. He was also unable to speak.
One, who lives opposite the crime scene, said she would often see a little boy leaving the property in a specially-adapted van.
Gillian Fisher, 34, said: “I don’t know who the family were but if the little boy is who I think he is, I used to see him being taken to school in his wheelchair in a specially adapted van."

“He couldn’t really speak and spent a lot of time just yelling.
“I never saw them out, I don’t think they went out and about. They just had access to the garden.”
