Keanu Reeves says the only celeb autograph he asked for wrote 'f**k you' in response - Central Recorder

Keanu Reeves might be one of the biggest stars in the world, but even he couldn’t help but be starstruck by a particular celeb.

During a recent appearance The Late Show Stephen Colbert, The Matrix actor was asked a series of questions as part of the host’s game, The Colbert Questioner.

The mini quiz consisted of 15 questions, which allowed the audience to get to understand the guest better than traditional interview questions.

Reeves shared a lot of information about himself during this segment. He revealed his preference for oranges or apples (spoiler alert: it’s oranges) and his favorite sandwich (a toasted sandwich with peanut butter and honey).

He answered yes when asked if he has ever requested autographs from any of his fellow celebs. “Yes.”

“May I ask whom?’”Colbert intervened, to which Reeves replied: “Lou Reed, but it wasn’t for me, it was for a friend, and he was cool about it.”

“It was a little piece of paper with blue ink. Yeah, it was good. It just said Lou Reed,” Reeves said.

While this signature was for his friend, shortly after responding he remembered that he had also asked comedian George Carlin for an autograph—this time for himself.

“It was really funny because he wrote I think ‘Dear Keanu, f*** you,’”Reeves laughed.

“I always thought he just wrote that for me and then I met someone else who said that he wrote the same thing to them,”He concluded.

Reeves is a well-respected celeb, and he didn’t take offense to that.

Actor, 57 years old, concluded. “Anyway, it was beautiful.”
