I'M A Celeb fans have been left outraged as Ruthie Henshall 'cheats' in the live trial and LIES to Ant and Dec.

The West End star was one of the first celebrities to take part in tonight's live trial alongside Hollie Arnold.

I'm a Celebrity fans are convinced Ruthie Henshall cheated during tonight's live trial

The two women had to compete against Shane Richie and Jordan North to find as many gold coins in troughs full of gunge and offal against the clock.

Hosts Ant and Dec said the celebs could only search for the coins with their mouths, and then use their hands to place them in baskets beside the troughs.

However, once the time started, viewers saw Ruthie stick her hands in the gunge as well as her face.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Anyone else think Ruthie was cheating in that first trial?"

The celebs had to find the coins with their mouths but Ruthie appeared to put her hands in

The camera caught her on more than one occasion

Another tweeted: "Ruthie so cheating using her hands."

A third added: "Lol as if Ruthie thought she’d get away with cheating."

However, her action didn't result in victory with Ruthie claiming they had three coins at the end, the same as the boys.

But when Ant and Dec checked, the girls only had two gold coins in their basket.

She then claimed they had found three gold coins but when Dec checked they only had two

Viewers couldn't believe she had lied to the hosts

The fact Ruthie also appeared to lie also didn't go down well with viewers.

One wrote: "Love how Ruthie cheated by putting her hands into it and putting them in her mouth. Then tried to claim she got 3. Cheater."

A second tweeted: "Ruthie really just cheated and then lied to Ant and Dec on LIVE tv".
