The trial Russell had to undertake was called Rank Rotisserie, where he was strapped to a rotisserie and spun through a batter containing categories which contained questions.
If the general knowledge question was answered correctly, Russell won a meal for camp.
Among his questions were Harry Potter-themed questions, science, history, jungle royalty and castles.
At the end of the trial, Russell had earned five stars and five meals for camp.
He told Ant and Dec: “My Dad always said it’s a good job you can sing as you can do sod all else.”
