McDreamy’s fans will have to dream on.
Patrick Dempsey’s Congressional drama Ways & Means, which filmed part of a pilot episode at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown during wintry weather in January, has not been picked up by CBS.
The website Deadline speculated that national- and international political fatigue may have doomed the series.

Dempsey, who starred for 11 seasons as neurosurgeon Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd on Grey’s Anatomy, drew adoring throngs who huddled for hours in sleet and snow for a glimpse of the 55-year-old star last winter.
On the bright side… St. Peter’s got a contribution from the production, which bought upgraded gear to livestream services.
