The stars at night are big and bright, especially during the Fall Classic.
From local politicians to famous athletes and rappers, a bevy of celebrities were spotted rooting on the Astros during the first two games of the 2021 World Series in Houston.
First up, Harris County Lina Hidalgo took a picture outside Minute Maid Park before the Houston's Game 2 win. She later posted a photo to her Instagram story sitting next to Dr. Peter Hotez.
Hidalgo wasn't the only prominent politician in attendance, either. Mayor Sylvester Turner took some time to pose with rapper Paul Wall.
Sen. Ted Cruz was also in attendance for both games and celebrated his daughter's birthday during Game 1.
With millions on the line, you'd hope Mattress Mack would be at the ballpark cheering on the Astros. Sure enough:
Prominent lawyer Tony Buzbee took some time out of his busy schedule to sit behind home plate at both games with his wife, Frances.
Barbecue and race cars make for a natural fit, so it shouldn't have been all that surprising that Chef Ronnie Killen was seen hanging out with John Hennessey during Game 2.
A number of current and former Texans players also posted about being at the games, including Texans quarterback Davis Mills.
Safety Justin Reid posted videos to his Instagram story after Jose Siri's memorable score, while Tytus Howard, Brandin Cooks and now-former Texan Mark Ingram were all spotted at Game 1.
Texans legend Andre Johnson called "Play Ball!" before the series began, and posted during Game 2 about getting to meet one of his heroes, Miami Dolphins great Mark Clayton, during the second game.
In other posts, Johnson posted about hanging out with "Mr. October" Reggie Jackson, as well as Houston rap icons Bun B, Willie D and Scarface.
