Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-October 2021, starting with this long-term couple… On Oct. 19, Page Six published exclusive photos of Tori Spelling looking upset outside an attorney's office while carrying a notepad featuring her hand-written to-do list for the day. Under the section titled "3 pm lawyer," the mother of five listed three talking points for her appointment: "assets," "support" and "custody." The keywords all point to a possible divorce between the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum and husband Dean McDermott. The long-term couple has been facing breakup rumors for nearly a year now. They've yet to publicly address the current state of their relationship, though, according to a Page Six source, Tori's friends wouldn't be surprised if she and Dean finally throw in the towel. "Her friends are surprised [a divorce] didn't happen years ago," said one insider, adding that "no one is a fan" of Dean. (The duo previously weathered a 2013 cheating scandal.) Amid the drama, the pair were photographed looking forlorn while taking their kids to Disneyland on Oct. 20 — it was the first time they'd been seen together in months. (See photos here.)

Teresa Giudice and her boyfriend of a little more than year, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, got engaged at the Amanzoe Resort in Porto Heli, Greece, on Oct. 19. People magazine published exclusive photos from the elaborate proposal, which culminated in a "choreographed fireworks display" that a witness described as "absolutely exquisite." According to the insider, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star was "completely surprised" by the question-popping, though she said back in March that the businessman was her "soulmate" and that marriage was likely in the cards for them.

On Oct. 15, Vicki Gunvalson took to Instagram to accuse her ex-fiancé, Steve Lodge, of cheating on her. "He used me, he lied to me, he's been dating a 36 year old and is not what he portrays himself to be. No Christian man would do what he's done," she commented on a photo of pal Tamra Judge. The 59-year-old former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" added in a second comment, "While I was out of town working on a biz trip, he took her to my condo in Mexico! He's been flaunting around my town in [Orange County] making out in public places. It's disgusting." When the 62-year-old aspiring politician caught wind of Vicki's comments, he released a statement to multiple media outlets insisting that the reality star was lying: "The absolute lies she is now spreading on social media [are] very disappointing and disingenuous, to say the least. But I cannot say I'm surprised," he said, adding that he and Vicki "had not been in an intimate relationship since September of 2020" and that he's been living in his own condo in Mexico — not hers — "since the beginning of 2021." He also claimed that he and Vicki agreed to remain friends following their split but that it's now "clear" to him that she was hoping for a reconciliation. Said Steve, according to Us Weekly, "I told her [that] was not possible. I wanted to move on with my life and I could not do that with Vicki. I'm sorry that Vicki cannot accept this, but it was time." He concluded by saying he wishes his former love "the best." After Steve released his statement, Vicki told Page Six, "He is correct, that he rented a one-bedroom condo in the complex that I purchased a home in for our retirement in April. He continued to stay with me when I was there, but physically moved out of both my homes three weeks ago. Yes, he is right about wanting to 'move on with his life,' but still living together gave me hope that we would be OK."

On the Oct. 19 episode of Kaitlyn Bristowe's "Off the Vine" podcast, Kristin Cavallari revealed that she and ex-husband Jay Cutler "went on a couple dates" while having second thoughts about breaking up after she filed for divorce in April 2020. "It's been such a roller coaster, but it's been the brightest and the saddest, the whole experience," she said, according to E! News, calling their split "probably the best" decision she's ever made, though she also acknowledged that there have been some "really sad moments." Although she and the former professional football player briefly questioned whether or not they did the right thing by throwing in the towel, they ultimately realized the romantic spark between them "wasn't there anymore," said the mother of three. "[We] aren't getting a divorce because of love lost, which made it really challenging because we were crazy about each other. … I just decided I didn't want to be in a toxic relationship anymore, and I had to break it off. But that's made it hard and made me sit here and question it for a few months. But then going back and dating him a little bit made me reaffirm, like, 'No, I know that I'm doing the right [thing],'" she explained. "I come from divorced parents, and I was like, 'I don't want my kids growing up thinking that this is a good relationship.' Because I got to see my mom remarry and be in a good relationship so that I knew what one was. I mean, I wanted my kids to see me happy. I just did. And they're better off. And they've adjusted really well — not that there's ever a perfect age for it, but they were at good ages. And so I'm glad that it happened when it did." As for the current state of her relationship with Jay… "If I didn't have kids with Jay, I would never talk to him ever again. But now, I have to talk to him a lot [because of our children]," Kristin said. The former couple sparked reconciliation rumors back in January when they each took to Instagram to share the same shot of themselves hanging out together, along with the caption, "10 years. Can't break that."

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson may be dating again on the down-low. On Oct. 20, E! News reported that, according to a source, there's currently "no label" for the off-and-on couple's relationship. (As in, he's not her boyfriend OR her ex-boyfriend.) "They're raising [daughter] True together. Tristan is around and Khloe is happy. He's very supportive and there's nobody else in her life," said the source of the pair, who last split in mid-2021 after the professional basketball player became embroiled in yet another cheating scandal. "They are a family and there's a lot of love between them. They leave it at that," added the insider.
During an Oct. 14 interview with "Extra," Ant Anstead shot down recent rumors that he and his girlfriend of just a few months, Renee Zellweger, are moving in together: "I would say it would be too early for that," he said. We're taking things nice and slow, and we're really happy."

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got engaged on the beach at the Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, California, on Oct. 17. Three days later, the bride-to-be took to Instagram to share a slideshow of photos from the proposal: "I woke up all night thinking it was a dream," she wrote in the caption. Commented the blink-182 drummer, "Forever with you is a dream come true." He also shared his own slideshow of photos from the sunset proposal, which he captioned simply, "My fiancé." It'll be Kourtney's first marriage, though Travis has been married twice before — to Melissa Kennedy and then to Shanna Moakler, with whom he shares two children. "Since this is Kourtney's first engagement, it's of course a big deal," said a People magazine source, adding that most of the reality star's family and two of the rocker's kids were on hand for a celebratory post-proposal dinner at the hotel. "It was a complete surprise for Kourtney. Travis told her family that he planned to propose, but everyone was great at keeping it secret. The Rosewood is their favorite for short weekend getaways. They often stay at the hotel. This is why Travis proposed there. It's a very special place to them, but it was also easier to keep everything a secret by proposing there," said a second People source, adding that Kourtney is "ecstatic," "can't wait to marry Travis" and "would also love to have a baby with him." But not everyone was "ecstatic" about the engagement…
Page Six reported on Oct. 18 that, according to a source, Kourtney Kardashian's former long-term partner, Scott Disick, is "going crazy" over her engagement to Travis Barker. "He's going to go off the deep end. It's really bad. It's about to get dark," said a source. Two days later, a People magazine source said of Scott, who shares three children with the reality star, "[He] hasn't really wanted to deal with Travis and Kourtney because he didn't feel like he'd have to. At first, it seemed like it was just a casual relationship to him, nothing serious. So he pretty much put that on mute. Hasn't been giving it too much brainpower, thinking that eventually, they'd break up. But that didn't happen and now he's being forced to deal with it, which is uncomfortable. He knows he has to lean into the discomfort and get past it. He understands that it's not Kourtney's job or Travis's job to make him OK with this. It's his job, and if he's going to co-parent with Kourtney, which he has been, he has to process this and make his peace with it." In the meantime, he's "distancing himself" from the Kardashian clan. "It's not about them, it's not about Kourtney. It's about him needing some time to process this and deal with it on his own, without them. He'll come around soon," added the insider. But a second People magazine source put things a little more bluntly, saying that Scott is "not happy" about the engagement. "Scott never approved of Kourtney dating Travis. He has struggled with their relationship. He always had this idea that he and Kourtney would eventually get back together. He was pretty shocked when he found out that she was dating Travis," said the second source.

On Oct. 17, Olivia Jade took to TikTok to shut down an unsubstantiated rumor that she's having an affair with her "Dancing With the Stars" partner Val Chmerkovskiy, who married fellow professional dancer Jenna Johnson in 2019. "I just wanna clear the air before this goes any further or this video blows up any more," she said. "First of all, the woman who posted it blocked me and somebody had to send me this video. But I'm just gonna be super blunt and straight up and say Val and I are not hooking up. We have never hooked up. This is a complete rumor. We're genuinely really good friends, and I adore his wife. It's literally just a dance show and we're just friends, and I don't know why everything always has to be something. But I've obviously already seen a ton of negative comments. And, yeah, I'd get it if it was true, but it's not so let's end this here."
There's a new woman in Braunwyn Windham-Burke's life. On Oct. 19, the former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star attended a party celebrating the new book "Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It," during which she was seen holding hands with hair colorist Jamie Parton (left, pictured with Braunwyn and celebrity real estate agent Amy Herman Schechter). The mother of seven — who split from her last girlfriend, fellow "The Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Fernanda Rocha, in September — told Us Weekly that she met Jamie two years ago through "The Real Housewives of Dallas" star D'Andra Simmons. They reconnected and started dating a "few week" ago when Jamie reached out to Braunwyn on Instagram. "We started messaging. And when I was out here [in New York City], we hooked up," she said. Chimed in Jamie, "And the rest is history." (Jamie also revealed that she watched Braunwyn on TV "a little bit" and "thought she was beautiful.") Meanwhile, Braunwyn told Page Six that she and husband Sean Burke are "still living together" and "have no plans on changing that." Said the former reality star, who came out as a lesbian in late 2020, "We're actually looking at a house with a guest house, so we'll have a little separation but still, we want to raise our kids together. We don't want to separate the family." She's previously said that she has no plans to divorce her husband of more than two decades.
On the Oct. 20 episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Freida Pinto revealed that she and photographer Cory Tran eloped at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, sometime during the pandemic. "We're already married," the "Slumdog Millionaire" star replied when the "American Idol" alum asked how wedding planning was going. "When we got engaged, we thought we'd have this most magical wedding … but then COVID happened — and it's still happening — and we just realized we were gonna be planning this for the rest of our lives and probably never doing it, you know? So we decided one day to go to the Honda Center in Anaheim and just get married," she explained. "I do not want stomach ulcers from planning my own wedding, and this was perfect. It was absolutely perfect! We got married and then we got to go home and take an afternoon nap." The actress also revealed that her "The Path" co-star Aaron Paul set her up with her hubby: "I was single at the time — enjoying my single life in New York … and for some reason, Aaron, who loves love and loves the idea of being people together … was like, 'I want you in my life forever, Frieda, so I'm going to introduce you to my friend.' I said I did not want to be hooked up with anybody and don't matchmake, don't do any of that stuff, but he still did it and turns out I got engaged to Cory, his friend." The duo are currently expecting their first child together.
According to TMZ, "Animal Kingdom" actress Leila George filed to divorce husband Sean Penn in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Oct. 15 following just 14 months of marriage. The age-mismatched duo — who have nearly 32 years between them — tied the knot in July 2020 after a courtship of about four years. (Sean, by the way, is only a year younger than Leila's father, former "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" star Vincent D'Onofrio. Leila, meanwhile, is a year younger than her estranged husband's daughter, actress Dylan Penn, with his second wife, Robin Wright.)
On Oct. 18 — a few days after photos of Randall Emmett with two mystery women in Nashville surfaced on social media (see them here) — multiple media outlets reported that his fiancée of three years, Lala Kent, dumped him. The "Vanderpump Rules" star first sparked split speculation when she scrubbed the film producer from her Instagram grid (as she has in the past), shared a video of herself checking into a Beverly Hills hotel and liked a meme implying he was unfaithful. "All of us if Rand cheated on Lala," read the meme, which shows Lisa Rinna pointing a gun at Randall. "Lala is done. They've been fighting since the beginning of the pandemic," said an E! News source of the couple. Added a Page Six insider, "Randall always lives a double life. He lives the life of a husband or boyfriend, and then he lives the life of a serial partier and then goes on a bender." The duo welcomed daughter Ocean in March.
"Schitt's Creek" alum Sarah Levy — who starred as Twyla on the lauded comedy series — married actor-producer Graham Outerbridge at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on Oct. 16. Two days later, she took to Instagram to share some photos with her new hubby on their wedding day. "Bells are ringing," she wrote in the caption. Her brother and "Schitt's Creek" co-star Dan Levy first announced the happy news by sharing a photo of himself and the bride on the dance floor following her nuptials. "My sister got married this weekend. This is absolutely not a photo of us screaming the lyrics to S Club Party on the dance floor. Love you, @sarahplevy," he joked in the caption. It's unclear when the happy couple, who've been an item since at least 2018, got engaged.
On Oct. 20, Us Weekly broke the news that JoJo Siwa and her girlfriend of nearly a year, Kylie Prew, called it quits earlier this month. "JoJo and Kylie did break up," said a source, adding that some of JoJo's "Dancing With the Stars" castmates are "aware" of the breakup. "Kylie stopped attending the show so she hasn't been seen in the audience since they split," said the source, adding that the "Dance Moms" alum is "focusing on the competition and giving her all" although "it's a rough time for her."
During an interview with Vogue Australia that debuted online on Oct. 16, "Succession" star Sarah Snook revealed that she quietly married comedian Dave Lawson in February. "At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I got locked down in Melbourne with one of my best mates and we fell in love," she said. "We've been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic. We've just never been single at the same time. I proposed and we got married in my backyard [in New York City]. … It's been a ride. There's so much heartache and sadness in the world, but on a micro personal level, I've been very fortunate. There's a really lovely grace in that without the pandemic, we might not have ended up together so quickly."
Former Food Network star Anne Burrell and Stuart Claxton — who works in ad sales marketing at Univision — tied the knot at Windridge Estates Redbarn 20 in her hometown of Cazenovia, New York, on Oct. 16. According to People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos, Rachael Ray served as a bridesmaid, while the groom's 16-year-old son from a previous marriage served as his best man. (Jenni "JWoww" Farley was also on hand for the nuptials, and "Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro created the wedding cake.) Said the bride, who arrived at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage, "I don't care about the cheese factor. Every time I mention the horse and carriage, Stuart laughs a little bit, and I'm like, 'Alright, whatever. It's my moment and I mean to have it.'" They got engaged in April 2020 after meeting on the dating app Bumble in 2018.
On Oct. 13, Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters took to Instagram to announce that he and Kamilah Chavis, who's 35 years his junior, recently tied the knot. "I'm so happy, finally a keeper," the rocker, who's been married four times before, captioned a slideshow of wedding photos. According to Page Six, the couple of about five years met when she worked as his driver during Southern California's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in 2016. (The New York Post's gossip column first reported they were engaged in August.)
On Oct. 17, Bachelor Nation's Tia Both — who competed for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart on season 22 of "The Bachelor" in 2018 and then appeared on the recent fifth season of "Bachelor in Paradise" — took to Instagram to introduce her boyfriend, Taylor Mock. "Not gonna lie-it's been nice keeping this to myself, but it's about time y'all know too," she captioned a video featuring highlights of their relationship so far. Taylor, meanwhile, captioned a slideshow of photos and videos with the reality star, "It's hard to put into words how you truly feel about someone you love. I guess I'll keep it as simple as I've never felt more alive than when I'm with you." He first posted about their relationship on Instagram in early September — not long after Tia's time on "Bachelor in Paradise" came to an end.
On Oct. 17, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum Falynn Pina (who was previously known as Falynn Guobadia) took to Instagram to announce that she's engaged to new love Jaylan Banks, with whom she's currently expecting a child. (She has three sons from a previous marriage.) "I said YES!!! I have no clue how @itsjaylanbanks pulled this big surprise off but I have not stopped balling my eyes out. I love you baby," the expectant mom captioned a photo of herself with her new engagement ring on full display. Jaylan, meanwhile, captioned a slideshow of photos from the night they got engaged, "Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control." They started dating earlier this year amid her split from Simon Guobadia, who's now engaged to Falynn's former "RHOA" co-star Porsha Williams. (Back in June, Simon accused Falynn of cheating on him with Jaylan.)
During an interview with People magazine that debuted online on Oct. 19, "Southern Charm" star Craig Conover finally addressed his long-rumored romance with "Summer House" personality Paige DeSorbo, acknowledging that they both "had a crush on each other from three years ago" and "always had an eye for each other" but were never single at the same time before. They ultimately took their relationship to the next level "in a healthy way," he claimed, after they shot "Winter House" in Vermont in early 2021 … and after he split from Natalie Hegnauer, whom he started dating in early 2020. "We built a friendship and got to know each other first, and it all happened naturally," he said, adding that their relationship is "so real" — and definitely not a publicity stunt! "We are pretty happy now," he said. "I don't think either of us has ever dated someone else in the industry. We get each other, it's nice. We really are each other's biggest fans, which is something that I've always looked for." Paige, meanwhile, told Us Weekly of her beau, "Craig just gets me. There's a lot of things I don't have to explain to him because we look at things very similarly. It just fits, like, it just is very natural and it's a lot of fun." She also said that the base of their relationship is friendship and that they "actually love" having a long-distance relationship because they are both "very independent and have so much going on during the week." Added the "Summer House" star, who insisted Craig was "absolutely respectful" to Natalie before they split, "This is a very real relationship and it's very new."
Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are one step closer to tying the knot! On Oct. 14, the duo — who got engaged in July 2020 and are set to wed later this week — took to Instagram to reveal they'd obtained a marriage license. "One step closer to becoming Mrs. El Moussa!!! Got our marriage license today and it made us both emotional. Now let's get married already," the "Selling Sunset" star captioned a brief video of herself kissing the "Flip or Flop" personality as he held up their legal paperwork. Tarek, meanwhile, captioned the same clip, "Marriage license in one hand, future wife in the other! See you at the altar, baby."
On Oct. 15, Page Six broke the news that Paris Hilton and her fiancé, Carter Reum, are planning to tie the knot at a church in the Los Angeles area on Nov. 11. Following the ceremony, they'll reportedly host a reception at a mansion in Bel Air that was previously owned by her late grandfather, Barron Hilton.
Nearly a year after she filed for divorce and nearly two years after they quietly separated in late 2019, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have settled their divorce. TMZ reported on Oct. 15 that the duo — who did not have a prenuptial agreement in place when they tied the knot back in 2010 — agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their three children. Because they were married for more than a decade in the state of California, it's likely they'll also be splitting their assets equally. The details regarding spousal and child support have not been made public. Once a judge signs off on the paperwork, the two stars will be free to move on with their lives … perhaps by marrying their new partners!
Meanwhile, Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess took to Instagram on Oct. 17 to publicly celebrate their first anniversary. "1 year of accepting me in a way I've never been loved before," the former teen idol captioned a photo of himself and the "Dancing With the Stars" pro leaning in for a kiss. The following day, Sharna shared a video featuring highlights from their relationship so far. "1 year ago yesterday my whole world changed. I just didn't know it yet. You're everything I've ever wanted in 1 person and the way you love me is something I couldn't even have dreamed of. I never knew it existed until you. I love you baby, and I love doing life with you. 1 down, and all of them to go," she wrote in the caption.
During an interview with Us Weekly that debuted online on Oct. 14, "Big Brother" co-stars Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss revealed they're a couple. "I think that we both really felt the chemistry once we got to jury house and could really connect with each other," Claire said, adding that they "developed a bond" by staying up late talking every night. Derek chimed in to agree that they realized there was "such a strong connection and chemistry" between them once they were both evicted. "I knew from week one that Claire was my type. I guess I just never let myself explore that beyond just a friendship. … I knew that if I let myself, I would just fall for Claire in the house," he said.
"Sweet Magnolias" actor Carson Rowland married Maris Kenny on Oct. 16, he announced on Instagram by sharing a slideshow of wedding photos. The duo just got engaged in July and celebrated their second anniversary in September.
